Navi Mumbai International Airport with design worth INR 19,650 crore unveiled
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the first phase of the Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) on October 8, 2025. Built at a cost of approximately ₹19,650 crore, the project was developed by Adani Airport Holdings in partnership with CIDCO. The airport’s design, i
nspired by the lotus flower, was created by Zaha Hadid Architects.

is planned as a multi-modal transport hub with seamless connections to the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link, metro lines, rail networks, and a water taxi service.
